Little 'Ole Me
Right now we are still a one man company, so... this is the part where I tell about myself. The part where I get a soapbox for just a little while. Well, I have been drawn to computers ever since Kindergarten when I beat the principal's son in a computer game of memory (his son was in sixth grade, I believe, and I'm pretty sure the computer was a Mac of some sort.) Unfortunately I didn't have the luxury of owning a computer until I hit Junior High. It was then that I began to explore my love for programming and logic, computer aided drawing, and word processing in a digital format. Still, the county schools didn't offer much in the way of PC education. It wasn't until I got to Motlow College that I was really able to whet my appetite. After taking nearly every computer class they offered, I took my degree and promptely jumped into... Food Service! I know, it doesn't seem logical, but it did work out for me. I stayed there for many years, partly because I did enjoy the environment and partly because I felt that was where I needed to be at the time.
While I enjoy working with food, I stil love computers, and a photography itch has also surfaced in my life after being on the back burner for years. To touch on the photography aspect, I have always been a shutterbug but I never nurtured the interest until a few years ago, right before the digital transition was showing on the horizon. I've been snapping pictures ever since then and I love it. Shooting digitally allows me to marry two of my greatest loves, computers and photography, and allows me several avenues to use those skills.
"Where do I want to see myself in the next ten years?" is a question that this site is an answer to. After many years I have found myself drawn again to webpage design, something I did during its very early years over a decade ago. My love for creativity (thanks, Mom), my technical know-how, and my photography abilities make web site design seem a perfect fit. Building sites give me a place to burn some of those creative fires.
